Boca Grande is part of the Cape Coral–Fort Myers are and is a small residential community on Gasparilla Island on the southwest Florida Gulf Coast. Boca Grande let's you experience "Old World" Florida as the area has been carefully preserved as part of Florida's. The village of Boca Grande is home to many seasonal and year-round residents as well as a retreat for
tourists and fishermen.
Boca Grande is Spanish for "Big Mouth" and comes from the entrance of Boca Grande Pass located at the southern tip of the island. Beautiful white sand beaches stretch the entire Gulf side of the Island, while protected waterways on the east side are home to a natural mangrove shoreline.
